The girls are firmly established as the big kids in their pre-K classroom. This includes drawings, projects and pretend play. It also includes hitting, excluding (and being excluded), play dates and preferring one friend over another.
The girls have a different favorite friend every week, it seems. But there are certain people who have continued to come up again and again. (It helps that their parents are cool too!)

| Tethys excels at pretend play - here she is with Maggie. |
| Hero wakes me up almost every morning and asks, "Can we make art this morning?" This continues at school. |
| Tethys and her friend Scout write their names. |
| Maggie and Tethys and Hero. |
| Hero concentrates on drawing with markers. |
| Hero makes some sticker/marker art. We are calling it "mixed-media". The teachers were very impressed with this one because Hero placed the stickers first and drew the tree after. This is evidently far beyond her developmental level. So, we might have an artist on our hands. Surprise! |
| Clementine, Tethys, Hero and Daniel. |
| Simon, Hero and Scout make paper airplanes. |
| Tethys and Maggie at pretend play. |
| A trip to the library - Hero sits in front. |
| Scout, Tethys and Arden at the library. |
| The most common siting of Hero at school - alone making art. |
| The most common siting of Tethys at school - in a group (with Xavier and Arden) building things. |
| Tethys showing off her project. |
| Hero making an airplane. |
| Tethys builds a rocket. |
| Xavier and Tethys show off their projects. |
| This is today - Tethys shows off her new building while wearing her Seahawks 12th Man sequin tank top! |
Hero made this crown for the Seahawks parade (note her Seahawks 12th Man sequin tank top)! Riley is our long-time buddy and the only kiddo who we've had sleepovers with at this point.

| Dash, Scout, Tethys (new kid I don't know yet) and Connor during the Seahawks parade. |
| Tethys and Abby building according to their blueprints. |
Love the new things the girls do and how they interact with others.
