Iowa trip

Now, I didn't go on this week-long trip to Iowa with Nick and the girls but we talked enough to know that all three of them had a blast.

Nick attended his 20th high school reunion and reconnected with more friends than I would have thought possible.

Nick's elementary school friend (and neighbor) John Davis was the class president. He also happen to be the father of two girls, Augusta (6) and Violet (3). So, while Nick and John were off cavorting with friends, Yia-yia and John's mom Rita kept their grand-babies busy with crafts and fun in their backyards.
The girls became FAST friends.
