What a whirlwind it's been to get these girls settled into school.
They started at Viewlands Elementary (Aloha Orcas!) in September after the teachers finished a week long strike. They are both in the same class (unusual for twins and at our request) with Miss Erickson (called Miss E). Tethys took to school immediately and wants to be the best and first at everything. Hero had a rougher go of it. She didn't like only having one teacher and she didn't like all the rules. Both girls had a hard time adjusting to the extra hour o school and the decrease in choice time.
School is teaching them to read thought - they are faster and more motivated than they've ever been before.
Love it, and Viewlands is a wonderful school.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they can stay there for the whole elementary age.
