Sleeping Through the Night

It's official. They both slept through the night last night with nary a whimper between when we put them down at 6:15PM and when they awoke at 6:00AM. We have been slowly weaning them off of their night-time feeding  and for the past 4-5 nights we haven't let them snack at night at all. And last night they didn't even wake up to complain. Happy Sigh.

What else... Hero is crawling a lot. She's not that good at it yet, not fast and cant; stay on her knees for a long time but she gets places and can't stay off of her tummy. In fact, when she woke up this morning her head was against the rails at the top of her crib and she was on her tummy with her arm behind her back. It looked uncomfortable to me, but she slept that way so I'm not going to complain.

Tethys still steadfastly refuses tummy time and hates crawling but is getting very good at scooting while sitting down. This morning she turned in circles for a least 10 minutes.

Last week both girls had a miserable cold. Lots of mucus and slobber. AND Tethys has 6 new teeth poking through on top. It was rough on her.

Tethys continues to be a whiz at eating. She wants to feed herself solid food and doesn't like it when I help. She's good at it now and I have to ration her or else she's take in too much at once and choke.

Hero hasn't quite figured out the hand coordination of feeding herself solids yet. And she is FRUSTRATED by it. She sees her sister eating and will start this poubty cry where she tucks her chin tightly against her chest and whines. It would be irritating if it weren't so darn cute.

We went strollering this weekend around Greenlake with these adorable dragons/monsters.
