They are progressing towards independent movement this week.
Hero can consistently move herself backwards across the span of the room (or into a chair, bookshelf, exersaucer, mother...)
Tethys stood for 5 minutes while holding onto a footrest this morning.
Hero moved along a side of one footrest to an adjacent footrest while in search of Mama's kindle.
Tethys was standing, looked across the room at something, decided she wanted to go get it and leapt forward as if going to waltz across the room. Granted she didn't get far before she fell (into my arms) but her intention was real.
Very soon my life is going to get very hard. Again.

Go girls go! Way to cruise Hero. And look at Tethys' fine motor skills. Hoot!
