Tinnitis Tethys

About a year ago Hero began to shriek when she was happy, which led us to call her the "Happy Harpy". Recently Tethys has started to shriek when she's upset. But shrieking is such a pleasant sounding word. I can't even think of a word to describe the ear-bleeding, brain-numbing, painful sound that comes from her mouth when she doesn't get her way. It gives me tinnitus. Seriously.
