Potty Training

We have begun the arduous journey! Tethys began asking to pee in the potty about a week or so ago and since then has used the potty almost every day successfully. After each successful attempt, Tethys gets a sticker. Of course, Hero also wanted a sticker, but as she was not using the potty, she did not get one. She did not like this, so now Hero is also using the potty. Yay, the power of stickers! Both girls have even pooped in the potty (sorry if TMI) and are using the potty multiple times a day.

Yesterday, Darian showed the girls pull-up diapers that they will get to wear when they are using the potty more. As the diapers are covered in characters from one of the girls favorite movies, Cars, they were very excited. Don't know how much they understood about the whole pulling up and pushing down their diapers aspect, but we'll see soon enough.

In other baby-related news, Hero has decided that she likes Tethys bed more than she likes her own. She even tries to sneak into Tethys' bed while T is in it.... this does not go over well. Hero essentially lays on top of T like a blanket and T does not like it. Hero has been spending a lot of time in Time-Out because she refuses to leave her sister alone in her bed and thinks that it is a big joke rather than a serious problem, which makes it that much harder to punish her.

Man, do I hope this phase ends soon.
